Looking for scholarships for college? This is a list of some of the scholarship opportunities that have been available. Many of these organizations offer these scholarships each year so check their websites to see their current information.

Every senior should make sure to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), your FAFSA must be completed in order to receive scholarships AND to obtain student loans! Asian Pacific Fund Scholarship Program
 
This year the Asian Pacific Fund Foundation is providing scholarships to more than 85 students. Many - but not all - focus on Asian students with financial need, these scholarships range in amounts from $1,000 to $20,000. There are 14 scholarship programs available that are supported by a private donor so eligibility requirements will vary from program to program.To find program applications and eligibility requirements visit www.asianpacificfund.org.
 
AXA Achievement Community Scholarship
 
The AXA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of AXA Equitable. There is up to $750,000 in scholarships available. AXA achievers are diverse, but they share the following characteristics: • ambition and drive • determination to set and reach goals • respect for self, family and community • ability to succeed in college. Balboa Bay Republican Women Federated Scholarship
 
This year the Balboa Bay Republican Women Federated has a $1,000 scholarship to a senior (preferably a woman) who is a resident of Orange County, a US citizen and a Republican, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The candidate must be planning to attend a four year college or university next year, complete the application and an interview. 
 
Burger King Scholar
 
High school seniors can apply to receive up to $50,000 in scholarship awards for the 2019-2020 school year! High school seniors must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be eligible and be active in their community through volunteering, sports, clubs and/or religious organizations. www.burgerkingscholars.com
 
Cabrillo Civic Club of California Scholarship
 
The Cabrillo Civic Club of California Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors of Portuguese descent. Awards are based on a competitive basis with consideration being given to the following categories: GPA (minimum of 3.50 maintained from grades 9-12), Leadership, Extra Curricular Activities, Work (Paid or Volunteer), Promise and Membership in Cabrillo Club. Scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each will be awarded upon verification of enrollment in an accredited community college, college, university or trade school in the U.S.A. Coca-Cola Scholars
 
If you are a truly movtivated, dedicated, involved high school scenior, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is awarding $3 million a year in scholarships to 250 deserving students just like you!
