Photography

Students at Calvary Chapel High School get the chance to learn the fundamentals of photography, from how to use a camera with manual settings, to composing photographs that have thought and intent. In the second course, they are able to learn studio lighting techniques and how to operate flash units as well as expand their creative abilities on individual projects.

The best application of these courses happens on the various optional photography trips taken while in the class. Death Valley National Park, Zion National Park, and Yosemite National Park are a few of the locations students have been able to visit to apply their photography understanding in a practical setting.
