Academic Spotlights
CCHS carries a tradition of rigorous courses, offering over 60 approved courses on the UC A-G Course List. You can view a complete list of course offerings from our Curriculum Guide. Additionally, we offer 14 AP courses, 5 Honors courses, 4 Dual Enrollment courses in partnership with Vanguard University, and several new College Prep, AP, and Dual Enrollment course offerings under development.
We are also excited to announce our new Guidance Center in the high school library. Students will meet with the Guidance Department to create a 4-year planner to be updated yearly, attend presentations with College Admissions Counselors, receive assistance in planning and applying for college, and be directed to Scholarship opportunities and FAFSA assistance for parents.
CCHS Earns AP Computer Science Award
Calvary Chapel High School earned the College Board's AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles (CSP). Course instructor Steve Willette identified and uses a course curriculum that is accessible to a variety of learning styles. We are one of only 832 schools nationwide recognized for achieving this important result in AP Computer Science Principles.
