The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce established “Difference Makers” seven years ago to recognize students, volunteers, business and community leaders, and educators who have made extraordinary contributions toward building a better Santa Ana.
The chamber recognizes one senior from each high school in Santa Ana Unified School District, one student from Santa Ana College, and one senior from other high schools in Santa Ana who have made a difference in their community and the lives of others. The students selected demonstrate outstanding character, leadership qualities, community involvement, and a commitment to serving others.
“Difference Makers” were recognized at an awards ceremony and received a $1,000 scholarship toward their college education. Congratulations to Tyler Thorin who was selected the 2017 Difference Maker for Calvary Chapel High School.
