Griffith Park Observatory

On Wednesday, November 16, all freshmen are going to the Griffith Observatory to see for ourselves how incredibly awesome God is in His creation of the moon, stars, and atmosphere. The busses leave school at 9:00am and will return back to school just before 3:00pm.

Lunch will be provided courtesy of Link Crew. We will be eating at the park located just below the observatory. The observatory has a snack stand and a gift store which the students are welcome to visit. Dress code for all students is jeans and a uniform shirt.

Students will be required to complete a worksheet. Absent students must make-up the worksheet by writing a one-page paper on any galaxy or related topic approved by Mr. Coon and turned in on the day after they return to school. An absence or tardy note is required for the day also.
